50-Acre Former Empire Brushes Property & Facilities Scheduled for Foreclosure Auction Sale
Greenville, NC – The former Empire Brushes property located at 2400 North Memorial Drive in Greenville, North Carolina has been foreclosed upon and is scheduled to be auctioned for sale on February 21, 2017 at 10:30 AM at the Pitt County Superior Courthouse door in Greenville, NC. The auction will be finalized 10 days following an offer from the highest bidder.
Currently vacant, this 50 +/- acre site contains 371,434 sq/ft of manufacturing, warehouse, and office space, CSX rail service, tractor trailer docks (28), tractor trailer parking, and is located 40 miles from I-95 via Interstate quality highway-US 264. Additionally, over 20 acres of the site is available for expansion.
Built in 1964, this site was operated by Empire Brushes, Inc. until being purchased by Rubbermaid in 1994. The site was has undergone multiple facility expansions and upgrades since that time. Rubbermaid has since transferred ownership of the site yet maintains responsibility for environmental liabilities.
