Detail: Commercial Development Company, Inc. (CDC) acquired this 100,000 square foot facility on 17 acres in Atlanta, GA from Viacom / Westinghouse. Redevelopment of this site was a significant challenge due to a variety of environmental concerns, primarily asbestos and PCBs impacting the soil and groundwater.

Solution: CDC removed the asbestos, demolished the buildings, and remediated the soil and groundwater contamination. To maximize the value of the property, CDC was able to clean the site to a more stringent environmental standard, which has allowed for additional uses beyond the initial industrial zoning classification.

Today the site has been redeveloped into a premier golf and sports entertainment facility.
